My story

Hi! I'm Banana Fudge! 🍌🤎I’m a 10-year-old, 15 lb Jack Russell Terrier with a big heart and an even bigger personality.I’m looking for a safe and loving home to finally call my own. I dream of lazy days at home with my people, zooming around the yard, and leaping into your arms when you walk through the door.🥹💞Before entering foster care, I lived in a home with nearly 90 other dogs. Grimes County Animal Rescue stepped in and rescued all of us. Then, Long Way Home took me in to help make space — so that all of my siblings could also have a chance to be saved.The people who took us in originally meant well- they were trying to keep us off the streets. Sadly, it became overwhelming, and we ended up living in neglectful conditions.💔When I was rescued, I was malnourished, suffering from a painful urine scald, and I even had a bullet wound in my upper jaw. Despite everything, I never stopped wanting to be loved.Now I’m a happy, goofy little guy with so much love to give. I get along well with other dogs, and I do a great job going potty outside like a good boy!
