Sam

My story

Sam is one of the sweetest boys around. He loves to be pet and likes to hang out next to you no matter what room you're in or what you're doing. He loves his cat tree and playing with his ball, but nothing makes him happier than chasing a peacock feather being dragged on the floor by his foster parents. He isn't the biggest fan of being picked up, but will tolerate it for a little bit, sometimes with some purrs as well, but Sam definitely prefers to come and sit in your lap on his own, where he will purr for ages. Sam is very vocal and will have full conversations with you. He does bite, but it is just his way of communicating and he never does it to hurt you. Because he is a bit bitey, we feel he would be best in a home with adults only who can read his body language and understand that sometimes he just wants to hang out next to you, but does not want to be pet. He is otherwise very social and loving and will hang out in the middle of a party to get pets from all the humans around. Sam hasn't been around any cats or dogs in his foster home, but we feel he might do well with only one very calm dog or cat. He prefers to sleep in our bed, and would probably be happy in a home where he is allowed to sleep in the bed with his owners, since he becomes very attached to his people. Sam does like to wake up very early, so he would do best in a home of early risers who don't mind waking up early to feed and play with him. Please contact the foster at taleenkennedy@gmail.com
