Meet Elsa – A Gentle Soul Ready to BloomElsa is a 66-pound German Shepherd with a heart as big as her paws. Rescued after being found abandoned with her sister Anna, Elsa is now discovering what it means to be safe, loved, and—slowly but surely—a happy, playful dog.Though shy at first, Elsa’s gentle spirit shines through once she feels secure. She takes her cues from other animals and blossoms in the company of confident, friendly dogs. In fact, Elsa would thrive in a home with another playful pup to show her the ropes. She’s also fantastic with cats and loves to gently initiate play with her foster’s social kitties.Elsa is incredibly sweet and polite—she takes treats with the softest mouth, enjoys chewing on bones (without being possessive), and once she learns it’s okay, becomes the ultimate bed snuggler. She's still learning to trust people but gains confidence when she sees another dog being comfortable with someone new.Elsa is looking for a patient, loving home with another playful dog and a calm environment where she can continue to come out of her shell at her own pace.
