My story

Honey is a 1.5-year-old medium-sized mixed breed with a heart full of love and legs made for adventure. She came to Paws Humane Society on May 2, 2025, after being found as a stray. Her finder graciously fostered her for two weeks before she joined us — and thanks to that, we already know quite a bit about this sweet and spunky girl! True to her name, Honey is as sweet as they come. She’s playful, food-motivated, and always on the move with that signature puppy energy — go, go, go is her motto! But don’t let her zest for life fool you; she also has incredible leash manners and is a joy to walk. Her foster family shared that Honey did great with young kids (ages 9 and under) and got along well with small dogs. While she can be a little timid around men at first, she warms up with patience — especially if treats are involved. Once she feels safe, Honey is all about the cuddles and will happily snuggle up any chance she gets. If you're looking for a playful, loving companion who’s just as happy romping outside as she is curled up on the couch, Honey might be your perfect match.
