Lil Chicken

My story

I am Lil Chicken and I am a very spunky and sweet girl. I love walks and exploring, especially if I get to try and chase a bunny or squirrel. I am very vocal when playing with my doggy pals and my favorite thing to do is to be outside. Around the home, I love to play tug-a-war and cuddle on the couch. I think of myself as a lap dog, but many say I am a bit too big. Belly rubs and snuggles are the way to my heart, and I especially love to cuddle under the blankets. I will keep you warm during those cold nights and I will protect your home with my big bark. I am warm and welcoming to invited humans in the home and always willing to make new friends. My foster family says that I am fairly well behaved. I am potty-trained, crate-trained, and house-trained but we are still working on my leash pulling, recall, and slight begging. During car rides and trips to the shelter or park, I am a great passenger princess and I love to sit next to a window where I can watch everything that flies by. Things to think about if you are interested in meeting me is that I am a big bundle of energy so having my own backyard would make my tail wag, I love chewing on bones which keeps me occupied when you need to do things around the house, and the scariest thing in the home would be the vacuum. I hope to find my home while I am young and ready to spruce up your life with my lovable and happy energy.
