My story

PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966 Local Surrender Meet Stella WAGS! This sweet beauty was found in a park, (most likely dumped), hiding behind a rock, exhausted, shivering and scared. Stella is thoughtto be 8-12 months old. She is a shy girl but is very sweet and affectionate once she knows you. (She does try to hide when meeting new people or in new situations). She can occupy herself with playing with toys (she loves a good solid chew toy) and she sleeps in her crate at night, or when herfoster mom has to go out. Like any pup, she does get the occasional zoomies, but generally is very calm and quiet. Stella is currently living withanother resident dog (20 lbs) who she enjoysplaying with. She appears to be dog friendly, and in fact would probably do best with a confident k9 companion to play with (slow intros of course) and show her the ropes. She tends to hide from loud noises and would do best in a home without children (as they can be noisy). She was a stray - Of Course shewas not spayed.....Of Course she wasn't housebroken.......Of Course she wants a family who willlove her and continue on with her training. Stella has now been spayed and fully vetted, including microchipped. Her foster mom is working on her housetraining and she is doing great. She is very treat motivated so she is responding well to training. Also, her foster mom is working on socializing her so she will not think the world is scary. Stella's wish list: * A quiet low key family, preferably no children (we have not seen her around children) * A family who is dog savvy and patient, and will continue training her (and we always encourage a positive reinforcement professional dog trainer) so she can be her best self * A fenced in yard (privacy fence even better) so she can safely run and play. * A confident k9 companion sibling to help her overcome her fears. She's is puttingher past behind her and looking for a great future! If you would like to be a part of her journey, please put in your application! Once you get to know her, you will be smitten! -- Please visit our website www.wagsrescue.org to learn more about this amazing dog and Wags Rescue.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Stella Wags, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
