My story

How Smino arrived: Smino was brought in by a community member on 4/26/25. Why Smino is the one for you:Smino came into our care showing signs of fearfulness-he was hesitant on leash, avoided handlers, and showed mild sensitivity to handling. Since then, he's made steady progress and now displays more positive social behaviors with staff he trusts. While still a sensitive soul, he's showing us he's ready to find a patient and understanding home.Smino's ideal home will be calm and consistent. Due to his fearful behavior, we're looking for a home with no children under 10, and ideally no multiple young children. Any children in the home must be able to respect safe spaces and practice consent-based petting.If you're ready to help a shy dog blossom with time, patience, and love-Smino could be your perfect match..
