My story

Meet Captain America and Remy LeBeau. They’re part of a litter of 11, and for some crazy reason, their littermates were adopted, but these boys were totally overlooked. We have a hard time saying no to speckles, so Remy and Cap are officially two to our newest v. good boys here at one more dog rescue. Their fosters are full of great things to say about them and “such a good boy!” has been a common theme. They are both classic, good-natured, affectionate, well-socialized boys who have been around kids/cats/dogs and are already shaping up to be best friend or family dog material. The speckleds are also thrilled to be right with their people (and will melt right into your arms when you pick them up, or also contort themselves into all sorts of positions when napping), love to chomp on treats and all sorts of toys (or not toys), and are picking up on commands like little Einsteins. While they may not be fully house trained or crate trained yet, they are getting there, and getting there quickly. Fast facts: ** Adopting separately ** Breed: Mom is a Black Lab…dad is a mystery! Sex: Males Weights: Just over 20 lbs. Estimated DOB: 12/28/2024 Energy level: Medium Puppy …not lunatics but not quite zen. Cap and Remy are fully vetted and available for adoption to residents of CT and surrounding states.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Captain America, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
