My story

Born: December 24, 2024 I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $650 Say hello to Aaron, the most dashing Red Heeler/German Shepherd mix you ever did see! This clever canine is on the hunt for his forever family and he's bringing a whole toolbox of tricks with him. Aaron's practically a canine scholar, acing commands like heel, sit, sit-stay, down, and down-stay. And get this: he's a total gentleman during bath time and ear cleanings – no fuss, no muss! While he might be a tiny bit timid at the vet's office, he's always on his best behavior. Plus, he's a dedicated student of potty training and is this close to earning his diploma! Aaron dreams of a home with older kids (think 13 and up), and he's a social butterfly who gets along famously with both cats and other dogs. Could this handsome, brainy, and charming boy be the missing piece of your family puzzle? Aaron's got his paws crossed, waiting to find his forever home with you! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon!
