My story

Augustus is a 6-month-old, neutered, microchipped, 25-pound beagle/treeing walker coonhound mix, looking for his forever family. ✨ House-Savvy and Smart: He knows how to use the doggie door and is already learning to "sit" like a champ. He’s a quick learner who’s eager to please and thrives with positive reinforcement. 🐕‍🦺 Dog and Kid Approved: He gets along great with other dogs and loves children. He’s playful, gentle, and always ready to join the fun. 🐱 Cat Curious: He’s curious about cats and tries to play, so he may do well with a confident or playful feline friend. 🏠 Social Butterfly: He loves being around people and wants to be part of any family gathering. Whether it's a backyard BBQ or movie night, he’s happiest when he's included. 🛋️ Auggie is a professional snuggler. He loves curling up next to you on the couch or in bed—but is also perfectly happy snoozing on a chair or sofa to sleep through the night. 🚫 Crate-Free Preferred: He’s not a fan of being crated but does like having an open-door crate available as his cozy daytime retreat. He loves to collect shoes and keep them in his crate. He doesn't chew the shoes; he just collects them! 🎾 Playful Pup: He loves toys and a good game of chase or tug of war. 🐾 Walks & Training: He loves going for walks and is currently working on his leash manners.
