PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION MARTINA IS IN FOSTER CARE IN Bridgeport CT IF INTERESTED THERE IS AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE houstonshaggydogrescue.org Martina is approx 6 months and 15 lbs as of July 2025. She is underweight and needs to put on a few lbs ,she has long legs and big paws ! so we would think she should be in the 30 to 40 lb range when fully grown she does get excited in the morning when we let the dogs out , she does not like being contained , she hates a cage and we put her in a pen and she barked non stop until she could climb out she likes to play with the other dogs but usually just likes to sit at her fosters feet and watch everyone else , she does not like the other dogs trying to eat her food, and will need some house training ,she is not suitable for an apartment.. she also has never been on a leash/ harness and will need an experienced adopter that can work with her, she’s a very sweet and easy going girl and wants to be your best friend ,she does need a fully fenced in and secure yard and would like a companion to play with, a younger dog that has her energy. we do require no children under the age of 10 years we adopt to experienced dog owners only and do complete vet checks on any dogs you may have or still own there is an application on our website houstonshaggydogrescue.org Her fee is $300 and includes spay, microchip, rabies , all vaccines and two sets of boosters
