My story

Meet Maverick! Maverick is a 5-year-old Cockapoo with a heart full of love and a little extra bounce in his step. He’s friendly with people and dogs of all sizes, and would thrive in a home with kids 6 and up who understand gentle boundaries (no toddlers, please!). Maverick hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but he’s always up for making new friends. Maverick loves to play and can be a little "talkative" while he's at it — he’s known for his playful growls during games with other pups and gets excited when visitors come to the door. Once he says hello, he settles down and goes back to being his chill, happy self. He's great on walks, doesn’t need a crate (though he'd appreciate a little patience if you introduce one), and is fully potty trained. At home, Maverick is easygoing — he doesn’t chew things he shouldn’t, but he will go after an open trash bin if left unattended (he says he’s just helping you clean up!). Like many poodle mixes, Maverick has some allergies that are easily managed with medication, and he’s looking for a family who will keep up with his regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.
