My story

Hi! My name is Oklahoma and I’d love to tell you about myself. First off, despite my name, I’m actually from Alabama. I’m sweet, silly, and love playing with any toy that’s in my path. I’m also a huge fan of snuggling. If you’ve seen the others in my litter, you probably noticed that I don’t look like most of them. Well, shortly after I was born, my mom passed away and I was brought to a shelter with my siblings, Tulsa, Greaser and Steve. While I was there, there was a mama with her newly born babies. I was so tiny, the workers wanted to see if she would feed some of my brothers or sister because two of my brothers wouldn't take a bottle. Momma Cherry accepted them so they got to live with momma and all sorts of new bothers and one sister. I drank a bottle really well because I am a champ and Tulsa and I stayed with a nice family who helped us continue to grow! I missed my other two brothers but, Tulsa and I did really well together and I’m a happy boy who loves life and I’m ready to bring my spunk to a family that I can call my own. I cannot wait to meet you! Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned.
