You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Maxwell: Proof That Big Hearts Come in Small Packages  This little 9 yr old silver Yorkie may look cute (and he is), but don’t be fooled—Maxwell is so much more than meets the eye. He’s living proof that you can’t judge a book by its cover! Little did we know that he was going to be more special than we thought. Maxwell has special needs—he’s blind, hard of hearing. But don’t let that fool you; Maxwell is full of determination and charm. Potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, affectionate, lap dog, loves belly rubs, car rides and adventures with all the new smells.  Maxwell looks forward to his interactive enrichment toys: licking mat, snuffle mat.  Maxwell was found as a stray in a hospital parking lot. Thanks to a good Samaritan he was picked up and brought to safety. He was wearing a rabies tag which led us to his owner who was a 90 year-old woman who had recently suffered a stroke. She could no longer care for him and knew that he was able to escape her yard so she asked that we find him a safe and happy home. We brought him up-to-date on his vaccines. He has been neutered and he’s micro chipped. He had a benign tumor on his butt and now he has a clean bill of health. Got a heart big enough for this tiny warrior?
