KNOWN WITH DOGS: Artemis lived with a sibling previously but was mostly focused on getting human attention during Homeward Trails playgroups. KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how Artemis is with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information! KNOWN WITH KIDS: Artemis met a baby very politely at a weekend Adoption Event. She can be jumpy when meeting new people. KNOWN CUES: Default Sit, working on Sit. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Artemis walks nicely into her crate and can settle, though can get a bit of FOMO when fun things are happening outside. KNOWN LIKES: Food, sniffing, chasing balls, other dogs. KNOWN DISLIKES: Lots of hustle and bustle. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Artemis was abandoned with her brother Apollo at a rural shelter partner in New River. She is a little nervous in her new environment but feels more comfortable with the support (and cuddling) of her human friends. Artemis is still young and working on some of her skills and manners, and would love the help of a dedicated human friend to help her grow up to be the best pup she can be. Athena was spayed during her stay at Homeward Trails.
