Despite facing challenges — including being deaf — Cheddar is full of life, love, and a playful spirit that’s impossible to miss.Deputy Hunter, who has been with the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office for 1.5 years (and serving in law enforcement for 7), immediately connected with Cheddar. In addition to his dedication to our community, Deputy Hunter also serves in the National Guard and owns a German Shepherd-Husky mix — so he knows a good shepherd when he sees one!Cheddar is looking for someone who will love her just the way she is — full of energy, smarts, and loyalty. ??Now, Cheddar is healthy, happy, and ready for a home where she can continue to thrive.
