Please contact Jennifer (jenniferleigh74@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Hello, humans. I’m Dia.Yes, like the airport. Because I was literally born for high-security drama and international mystery.Last September, I gave birth to a litter of kittens in the back of a company van at Denver International Airport. It was a vibe. A little gritty, a little chaotic. Mechanics found my babies and lured me in with them—rude, but effective. I was promptly relocated to a foster home, where I’ve since become very accustomed to indoor living.Let me be clear: I am never going back.I adore toys. I have them in every room. I chase them, I throw them, I zoom at Mach 3 across the house at all hours like a caffeinated cryptid. I love other cats, especially the ones who like to play and respect my space. I will absolutely be your resident cat’s new favorite chaos buddy. But let’s talk about you, human. You may feed me.You may admire me.You may even be graced with my presence on your couch or in your bed.But do not, under any circumstances, try to touch me.I don’t do unsolicited eye contact. If you lock eyes with me, I will sprint away like a scandalized Victorian widow. If you try to pet me, I will vanish so thoroughly you’ll question if I was ever real.I’m not mean. I’m just discerning. Think of me as a very beautiful ghost who enjoys snacks and catnip and occasionally supervises your life from the other side of the room. I’ll follow you around the house just to make sure you’re doing everything correctly. I’ll watch you sleep. I’ll attack your feet under the blankets if I feel like they’re being smug.I’m not feral anymore. But I’m also not here for your cuddles and emotional needs. What I am is glorious, independent, and available—for the right home.If your current cat is bored and looking for a playmate, I’m your girl.If you are the type of human who doesn’t need a cat to validate your existence with snuggles, also me.If you like your companions mysterious, majestic, and a little emotionally unavailable—I’m the full package.Let me live in your house, play with your cat, judge your life choices, and steal your heart from six feet away.Apply now. But don’t touch me. Seriously. Children 12 and over. See more on IG @@PurritoPlace foster:jenni Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! April 30, 2025, 2:58 pm
