My story

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Saero💕 Saero was a severely neglected dog found in Yangjeon-dong, Gimje, covered in 1.7kg of matted fur. After a long period of being abandoned, we tracked down his owner, explained the situation with sincerity, and eventually received a formal relinquishment agreement. After rescue, Saero underwent a thorough medical examination and received all the necessary treatments, which helped him regain his health. * With People: Wags his tail excitedly and barks “woof woof” when greeting familiar people! Takes treats well and follows his human’s lead nicely on walks. With strangers, he keeps his distance and quietly observes. If someone approaches to pet him, he may run away at first, but once touched, he stays still and receives affection gently. * With Dogs: Is more of a “my own way” kind of dog who prefers playing alone. If another dog approaches to play, he clearly expresses disinterest but never bites or reacts aggressively. Enjoys his own company calmly. * Separation Anxiety: Does well on his own and rests comfortably when left alone. * Potty Training: Uses indoor pee pads very well when they’re available and also does great with outdoor potty training. * Hygiene: During his first bath, he was a bit restless, but quickly adapted and behaved well. Is not a fan of drying, especially around his head, but he tolerates brushing and grooming just fine. * Walks: Doesn't pull on the leash but tends to wander as he’s curious and wants to explore many places. With a little guidance, he becomes more calm and focused on the walk. * Car Sickness: Relaxes well during car rides without any motion sickness. * Is a gentle dog with no biting behavior. Even during his first grooming after rescue, when painful mats were being removed and the skin was pulled, he only turned his head in discomfort but never tried to bite. * May bark when excited to see someone or when he wants to get into his kennel. His voice is loud, but as he becomes more comfortable, the barking decreases. * Can get startled by sudden touches, especially when a hand comes out from somewhere he can’t see. Tends to flinch when surprised like this. g.” ❗Health Condition❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, heartworm to be retested in December 2025, scaling completed, and eyelid mass removal surgery completed. * A boil was removed from his hip and a biopsy was performed. Fortunately, no abnormal findings were detected. * Has been diagnosed with bacterial dermatitis and is currently under treatment with medication. Takes medicine when he feels itchy, and the hair loss between the toes of his left hind leg has significantly improved thanks to a special allergy-friendly diet. * Requires consistent skin care, including medicated baths twice a week.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Saero, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
