I’m Autumn—a radiant ray of sunshine wrapped in fur, with an estimated birthday of April 13, 2022. If you’re looking for a cat with an enormous heart and boundless affection, you’ve found your match. I’m not just loving—I crave connection. There's nothing I adore more than being showered with attention. I’ll enthusiastically headbutt your hands, gently tap you with my paw, or follow you around with hopeful eyes, all in pursuit of more pets and cuddles. In fact, My foster mom said I made her job a bit challenging—because every time they try to snap a photo, I’m too busy headbutting the camera! I live for affection, and I soak it up like sunshine. Brush time? Absolutely divine. It’s my favorite part of the day. I’ll lean into every stroke, purring contentedly with eyes half-closed in bliss. But there’s more to me than snuggles—I have a playful, spirited side too! I love batting around toys, chasing after feather wands, and exploring every nook and cranny of my environment. Sunlit windows are my personal happy place—I’ll often be found basking in the glow, soaking in the world from my cozy perch. I may be sight-impaired, but don’t let that fool you. When I first arrived at the rescue, one of my eyes was badly damaged and needed to be removed. Now, I’m a proud one-eyed wonder, and I haven’t let that slow me down one bit. I navigate my world with grace and confidence, living every moment to the fullest. I get along well with other cats, though I sometimes appreciate having a bit of personal space to retreat and recharge. I’m great with gentle, respectful children, and while I haven’t met any dogs yet, I may do well with a proper introduction. I’m currently thriving in a foster home, and meeting me is as easy as a whisker twitch. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
