My story

Wagoogus is a 1-year-old medium-haired cat who came into our care after his previous adopters had a lifestyle change and could no longer keep him. After his neuter surgery, we noticed that Wagoogus was having trouble urinating and believed it may have been due to a UTI. Our dedicated Leeu Naylor Medical Team jumped into action, placing a urinary catheter to relieve his discomfort and stabilize him. After several days of care, Wagoogus had greatly improved, and we thought he was almost ready for adoption. However, his struggles weren’t over yet. We began to notice signs that he was having trouble urinating again, suggesting he was at risk of urinary blockage. Our team tried multiple treatment options, but when those didn’t resolve the issue, Wagoogus underwent a specialized surgery called a perineal urethrostomy. This life-saving procedure involves creating a new space for the urethra, greatly reducing the risk of future blockages. We`re thrilled to report that Wagoogus has fully recovered and hasn’t had any urinary issues since his surgery! He’s now ready to find his forever. home where he can thrive and get all the love from his new family. Wagoogus is a gentle boy who loves meeting new people and eating tasty cat treats. Come spend some time with this sweet and cuddly boy today and see if he can be your new best friend!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt WAGOOGUS, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
