My story

Tempura A17422117 lb. spayed female, approx 6 months old -She’s a sassy and fun gal!-She thinks she’s a big girl and likes to “woo woo” bark at the other dogs outside….And then sometimes hide behind me.😆-She loves attention and pets-She loves snacks above all else!-She’s a little impatient and still working on “sit.” She’ll also bark at you if you withhold the snack too long. 😂 She takes them decently. -Not currently playing with toys-Once I wore her out she did settle in and enjoy some belly rubs-She gives lots of kisses-Fun girl!-Decent on a leash but things in the hallway make her slow down to inspect them before walking around them-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-3:30 BUT our adoptions are done 7 days a week from 10:30am -3:00pm. •The last potential adopter must arrive before 3:00 pm so we have time to properly help you before closing. **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
