My story

Nora is a stunning Border Collie mix with eye-catching red and white markings and a heart full of love. Weighing in at 74 lbs, she’s a big girl with an even bigger personality! Outgoing and friendly, Nora greets everyone like a long-lost friend and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She’s curious, intelligent, and eager to learn—traits that make her the perfect partner for someone who wants to explore the world together or work on fun training and enrichment activities. Nora is affectionate and loves being part of the action, whether it’s a walk in the park or a cozy cuddle on the couch. With her smarts, beauty, and sweet nature, Nora is ready to be your new best friend. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
