My story

Looking for a loyal, loving companion who will be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your walking partner? Meet Lucky Dog — a 1 year old, 35-40 lb Husky Doodle Mix bundle of sweetness, smarts, and pure affection.  Lucky Dog is just as happy laying next to you while you work or relax as he is going on a walk or taking a trip to the dog park and running around with new friends. He THRIVES on closeness and would love nothing more than to be your constant sidekick. Like many sensitive pups, Lucky Dog does have some separation and thunderstorm anxiety. He also needs work on resource guarding. Because of this, he’ll do best in a calm, stable home — ideally with older kids who understand doggy boundaries and with an adult who works from home or is retired and around most of the day. He truly shines when he’s close to his people. He would make a great fit for someone ready to continue gentle training and help him be his best self. Being part poodle, he doesn’t seem to shed. He also appears to be house trained but does not like a crate. He needs a home with a secure wood fence (no rod iron) as he has escaped in new situations. Lucky Dog is ready to find a forever home full of patience, love, and lots of cuddles. Adoption fee is $500 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
