My story

I had the joy of fostering this sweet girl, and she truly lives up to her name! Weighing in at around 16 pounds, she’s a petite little lap dog with a huge heart. She’s incredibly personable, loves to give and receive affection, and thrives on quality one-on-one time.She’s a miniature beagle mix with all the charm of a full-sized beagle wrapped up in a tiny, cuddly package. Two 30-minute walks a day are plenty to keep her happy—she enjoys taking her time, sniffing everything in sight, and soaking in her surroundings. It’s her favorite way to explore and stay stimulated. She’s also very eager to please, which made training her surprisingly easy—she picked up `sit` in under 30 minutes!When it’s time to unwind, she’ll happily curl up in the nook of your arms for a nap or bedtime snuggle. She even enjoys being held like a little baby—it’s honestly one of her sweetest quirks.Now for full transparency: while she’s got the perfect temperament and size for apartment living, she does struggle with separation anxiety. When left alone—especially in a kennel—she has a hard time settling herself. Even after you return and pick her up, she may continue to cry for 10–15 minutes until she feels fully reassured. It`s clear I had never experienced a beagle before—she’s incredibly vocal and expressive, as many beagles are. So, anyone familiar with or fond of this very communicative breed will likely find her charm in it rather than a challenge.She also demands your full attention during the first hour you`re home, but once she feels secure, she’ll settle into independent play with her toys or snacks.If you have the time, patience, a flexible schedule—and maybe even understanding neighbors—this little lovebug has all the potential to thrive in her forever home. She’s truly a special soul and will make a deeply loyal and loving companion.
