Word on the street is there are two daddies; one is a full Pyr and the second is a Pyr/Anatolian mix. The one certain fact—they are 100% adorable! Angel gave birth to a healthy litter of 2 boys, Edward and Chandler, and 6 girls, Alice, Elizabeth, Margaret, Adelaide, Louise, and Beatrice. They are being raised with exposure to other dogs and cats and are having a grand ole’ time. They are confident, fearless, and open to learning and soaking up all the love and attention they can get. They are working on house breaking, know how to use the dog door and have mastered playing, eating, napping, playing, and doing it all over again. Adelaide is an easy-going, quiet baby girl who can be chill and silly all in a matter of minutes. She gets excited to get love from her humans, enjoys cuddles, and is just an easy, agreeable pup who gets along with everyone! She has even learned to use that paw to play swat too! Adelaide will require a home with a secure, 5-foot fenced yard, a big canine brother to help her learn all things dog and to play with, and experienced humans to help her navigate the world! To learn more about this pretty, lovable little girl, put in an application - she is sure to fill your life with love and adventures! If you call or e-mail you are reducing your chances of adopting this animal as we direct our time and energy to first serving those who apply. NYS Registered Non-Profit Rescue # RR102. National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. May 9, 2025, 10:20 pm
