My story

This handsome guy is independent and playful. He loves to throw his toys around and entertain himself. Biscuit is looking for an adopter who is willing to learn about reading and responding to dog body language and petting consent. He is still working on his manners and would benefit greatly from positive reinforcement training to help him become the best version of himself. With a little patience and a lot of love, Biscuit will make a wonderful addition to the right adopter.He would be best meeting a dog if he goes home with one and the children should be old enough to participate in training. Stop by Northeast Animal Shelter to meet Biscuit. We have open adoption hours Mon- Wed 11:30am-5pm, Thu-Sun 11:30am-6pm - no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel.
