My story

CHAUNCEY - 1-5 years old, 60 pounds, nervous at first, seems dog social Nervous boy Chauncey has a low growl from behind the cage bars but once outside, he is AMAZING, FRIENDLY, and actually pretty CALM. When he walked easily and calmly by the other barking dogs in the kennel we decided to introduce him to our shelter playgroup. Chauncey entered the playgroup yard naturally with the other dogs introducing themselves to him.  He sniffed appropriately, backed off appropriately when given a warning or correction, and he ran and played with others when given the OK.  When it comes to humans, Chauncey warmed up to me a bit quicker than the men out in the yard. He might need a little extra time getting used to men but that's ok! Given time and space, he will surely become your best buddy. Chauncey has light tan fur with a brindle look and hypnotic eyes which draw you in. His soft and warm expression keeps you there.  He enjoys attention and hanging with other dogs.
