Ace Ventura

My story

Ace Ventura is a 2 year old POTTY TRAINED boy who had a family until recently. He knows Sit, Stay, and Shake. He is playful and loves toys. Ace Ventura was trusted to free roam when the family was gone. He was surrendered because he is protective of his food and toys. Since their baby was born in the last year, they felt that Ace`s behavior wasn`t a good fit. It`s recommended that he doesn`t go to a home with young kids who may not understand his boundaries. He may do best to be fed in a space of his own. He can be shy at first and will need to meet all family members before going home. Ace Ventura has lived with a cat. While they coexisted, he didn`t want the cat around his food either. At the shelter he has been scared around the other dogs in play groups, but may be able to go home with another dog after successful introductions at the shelter, led by staff.Ace Ventura is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines.
