My story

This is a very special litter of four, not only for me, but for the two loving and dedicated ladies that bottle fed these puppies from birth to 6 weeks old. These puppies have never known anything but love and kindness and these ladies were the only Mom’s they every knew. Their real Mom disappeared three days after the pups were born. She looked like a medium sized (30-35 pound) Blue Heeler/Terrier mix and Dad was the neighbor’s Labrador Retriever. These puppies LOVE EVERYBODY (adults & kids), they are super friendly, always happy, fairly active, very outgoing and of course they are very playful. My wish for Gus is to be adopted by a fun and active family that will love him and include him in their everyday comings and goings. His date of birth is 2/8/25 making him 11 weeks old and weighing 14 pounds at the time of this posting (4/28/25). He has been neutered, micro-chipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Gus is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt GUS, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
