My story

Molly is a 6-month-old spayed female Jindo mix with a beautiful white coat, currently weighing 11 kg and standing 46 cm tall at the shoulder. She was rescued in late November 2024, entering the Gwangju City Shelter before spending about three months in foster care with shelter volunteers and staff. She’s now at AKR center in Korea, getting ready for her forever home abroad! Molly can be a little shy at first, needing some time to explore and warm up to new people. On her first day, she may scamper away when approached, but once she feels safe, she transforms into an affectionate cuddlebug, happily leaning in for pets and following her favorite people around. She loves relaxing by your side and enjoys quality time with those she trusts. Molly is comfortable being picked up and cradled, and once she’s bonded with you, she’ll even show off her belly! She’s great with kids under 13 and can enjoy walks alongside them. With other dogs, Molly shows a similar pattern — a little cautious at first, and selective about her playmates. She tends to prefer dogs similar in size to her and isn’t afraid to let rough or overly playful dogs know she needs her space with a little growl. If another dog bothers her too much, she’s more likely to run to her human for help than to escalate the situation. Overall, she’s a people-oriented pup who finds the most comfort in human companionship. Molly also lived around cats at the shelter and did very well, and we’re happy to arrange a cat test if needed. Her energy level is moderate; she enjoys outdoor activities but settles down calmly afterward. She’s an experienced walker who doesn’t pull on the leash and follows her person beautifully. Molly isn’t protective of food with people or other dogs, rarely barks, and generally saves her growls for times when another dog is being a bit too much. She is mostly house-trained, preferring to do her business outside. With just a little patience during her initial adjustment period, Molly will blossom into a loyal and loving family member! ##2377759##
