My story

HOLD ME LIKE A BABY OR REST ME BELLY-UP IN YOUR LAP DOB 10/15/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Chikitin, a sweet, innocent, playful, and handsome silver tabby fella with drowsy eyes that look like little green olives. My name means “little dearie” in Spanish, and I guess you figured out that Foster Meowmy named me Chikitin because I’m such a sweetheart. I’m that rare laid-back kitty who enjoys it when she holds me in her arms like a baby or rests me “belly up” on her knees. When it's treat time twice a day, I kiss her or give her chin a head-bump to thank her as she generously dispenses the goodies. When I was about three months old, I appeared one freezing evening at the community-cat feeding station in the garage of Foster Meowmy’s friend. Tiny me was cold and hungry, and my momma and siblings were nowhere in sight. When the nice friend realized that I was too sweet, young, and scared to fend for myself alone outside, she turned to Foster Meowmy to give me a safe haven inside her home. It took a few days for me to adjust to her other foster kitties, and -- true confessions – I’m still scared of the resident dogs, but otherwise now I’m happy as a lark. Every day I thank my lucky stars that I’ve been given a chance to have a lovely forever home where I can be coddled and then turn around to cherish my hooman back. Could that be with you?
