Age: DOB 9/12/2023 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Unknown/not tested Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Have you ever heard the words quiet and mellow used to describe a Husky?? Well you’re in luck, they describe Meadow perfectly! She must be the exception in the Husky world. She won’t even speak up when the resident dogs are running from room to room barking at someone outside. She prefers a more serene life! Meadow has these enjoyable qualities: Quiet Tranquil Friendly Silly Loveable Meadow’s other outstanding qualities include: Potty trained. Crate trained. Able to sit, shake, and stay on command. She will not eat until you tell her it’s ok. She will only join you on the bed or couch when invited. She rides very quietly and calmly in the car. Meadow came to the rescue underweight and so very tired. With access to clean water, a good diet, normal doggy exercise, and lots of comfy places to rest, she was able to gain weight and have fun. Meadow is now thriving and we think she’ll continue to flourish as time goes on. This breed is known to run the distance if they escape. Since huskies are a known flight-risk, either a completely fenced yard with a tall fence, or a harness and leash with constant supervision, will be needed, no tie-outs or short fences. Meadow hasn’t shown any signs of attempting to escape, or a desire to do so, but better safe than sorry. She is fully potty trained and enjoys going in her crate during the work-day. Just recently she has been allowed to free-roam during the work day and she has been doing fantastic! Her first few nights with us she slept quietly in a large covered crate, but Meadow quickly earned her spot on the bed and she is not a troublesome night time dog. She is an agile girl who can move to and from the bed with no disruptions, she also likes to sleep on the floor or a bed somewhere else in the house. She will be an amazing addition to your family! Meadow has played with small foster puppies along with the large resident dogs, so far she has loved everyone. She is initially more comfortable with women but is very capable and willing to warm up to men. Adoption Fee: $595
