My story

Sweetheart alert! Rihanna a.k.a. “Riri” is an adorable petite black and white kitty. Her markings make her look a bit like she’s wearing a white mustache, socks, and chaps. Riri is shy of people at first, but once she gets comfortable with you, she will demand that you give her scritches by rubbing against your legs, rolling around on the floor, and making the cutest squeaking and chirping sounds! She loves to nap in the sun, look out the window, snuggle under the blankets, and run around playing with her toys. Despite her shyness, Rihanna is very gentle: when she decides she’s had enough attention, she’ll give your hand a polite tap. She’s come a long way over just a few weeks in her foster home, but she’s still uncomfortable with being held or picked up, so her adopter will need to respect her boundaries. The ideal home for Rihanna would be a calm, quiet space with a patient adopter who will help her settle into a new environment, continue building up her confidence, and earn her trust. This super sweet kitty is worth the effort! Riri has lived with other cats before, so a forever home with another gentle cat would be an option, but she’s also happy to be your one-and-only.
