Piper is a quiet little survivor - she's been through a lot in her short life - she survived the devastating fire last year at the Happy Cat Sanctuary in Medford. Piper was one of six cats we took in from that tragedy when rescuers were overwhelmed, and nearly a year later, Piper is still waiting for her second chance. This gorgeous girl prefers the simple things in life - a cozy bed in a sunspot or a blanket to curl up in. She would do best in a calm and quiet home with slow and reassuring interactions from her adopters, who understand that love doesn't always rush, it sometimes grows slowly and quietly. She loves the company of other cats and would do best in a home with another cat that could help her build more confidence and show her that humans aren't as scary as they appear. She's still learning that gentle pets are a good thing, and she's been slowly warming up to the people she knows best. If you’re the kind of person who finds beauty in patience and joy in earning an animal’s trust, Piper could be your perfect companion. She may not be the boldest cat in the room, but her quiet resilience and gentle heart make her truly special.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Piper, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
