You've heard the old nursery rhyme chant, Pat-a-cake? Well meet our very own Pattycake! Formerly an expert baker who was always able to make the folks cakes as fast as she can! At the ripe young senior age of 13, this little wisp of a poodle mix has decided to hang up the apron, put away the egg beaters and leave it to younger kids to make a strawberry cake. Years of reading the fine details in all those recipes may have taken a little toll, as she seems to have some slight vision impairment in one eye. Pattycake is a gentle soul who is thriving around our other dogs, and is welcoming gentle handling from staff and volunteers, all of whom have fallen in love with her. She takes treats very gently and politely. At 7.5 pounds PattyC. may add that perfect, sweet morsel of love to your home and family. Come on into HQ and meet this beautiful little girl! Here's some notes from her foster: Pattycake is such a sweet little lady. She’s adjusted quickly to our routine and is a polite roommate to our resident dog. Pattycake does great on a leash, enjoys long walks, is fully potty trained, and eats all her meals. She’s not slowing down any time soon. At home, she wants to be near you and relaxes throughout the day. If you like having a tiny shadow, she’ll gladly follow you around and dance when she sees you. Pattycake has a very chill disposition. She sleeps very well, all night long without issues. She’s such a happy girl with so much love to give. Pattycake would make an amazing addition to any home.
