My story

Hi&#44 Iandamp;#39;m Riley.andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m a 10-month-old Australian Shepherd mix with a soft heart and big&#44 curious eyes... though right now&#44 I tend to use those eyes to watch the world from a safe distance. You see&#44 for someone so young&#44 Iandamp;#39;ve already learned that some things can be a little scary. Loud noises&#44 sudden movements&#44 new faces-they all make me want to tuck myself away until I feel safe.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;But hereandamp;#39;s the secret: once I do feel safe&#44 Iandamp;#39;m a total snugglebug. The kind who melts into you during quiet moments and lets out a big sigh of contentment. I just need time&#44 patience&#44 and kindness to help me get there.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Because Iandamp;#39;m still learning about the world&#44 Iandamp;#39;d do best in a calm&#44 quiet home with older kids who understand Iandamp;#39;m not ready for chaos. And since Iandamp;#39;m an Aussie&#44 once I get comfortable... well&#44 donandamp;#39;t be surprised if you start seeing a little sparkle in my eyes and some silly zoomies in the yard!
