My story

Hellooooooo new friends! My name is Stella, and at just one year old, I'm a cocker spaniel girl with big dreams and even bigger energy! At a petite 23 pounds, I may be small, but my personality is anything but…plus I’m adorable! 🥰 I'm what you'd call a "work hard, cuddle harder" kind of girl. 😂 During the day, I'm all about playing, exploring, and generally being the social butterfly I was born to be. I love making friends with other dogs and would love a canine sibling in my forever home. When the day's adventures are done, though, I transform into the world's most dedicated cuddle bug. There's nothing I love more than snuggling up next to my humans and showing them how much I appreciate them. I am not sure what cats are but I might do ok with a dog-savvy kitty. I've only met one little human so far on my walks, and after my initial excited barking, we got along just fine! Overall though I think I would do best with older children. Now, I should mention my little hobby. You see, I have a bit of a thing for socks. 🤣 The way they smell like their owners I can’t resist! I like to consider myself a sock connoisseur rather than a thief, but my humans might disagree! But have no fear, I don’t chew them, I just relocate them. 😆 I have good house manners but might need a refresher course when I get adjusted to my new home. Walks are my absolute FAVORITE thing, but I get so excited that I tend to pull on my leash. My foster family says I could use some leash training, and I'm eager to learn! In fact, foster Mom says I'm a quick learner and very adaptable—with a little puppy training, I'll be the perfect companion. So what do you say?
