My story

Hi, I'm Ellen, a 1.5-year-old Chihuahua mix with a shy and sensitive heart. The world can feel big and overwhelming for me, and the shelter is a scary place. I'm looking for a calm, quiet home where I can take my time to feel safe and build trust at my own pace. I'm not the type to run up for attention-in fact, I'd rather you let me come to you when I'm ready.I've made some wonderful doggy friends here, and having a confident, calm dog by my side really helps me feel braver. While it's not a requirement, I'd be much happier in a home with a canine buddy to show me the ropes and help me come out of my shell. A safe and secure yard would be perfect for me too, giving me space to relax and adjust on my terms. If you're patient and have a lot of love to give, I know we could make a great team.
