My story

Meet Buffy!! This little nugget is 24 lbs of pure muscle. Since coming into our rescue she is fostering with several Frenchies, Pit Bulls and Mastiffs. Zero health or behavioral issues. No skin, allergy or breathing issues. Buffy is 100% crate trained and housebroke, leash trained. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. Our foster tells us she’s a complete angel. She loves the car and parks and if you like to travel she loves the soft airline carrier. She is perfect on a leash and wants to meet every dog and every person she sees. She goes to the dog park a minimum of two times a day. She is a Frenchie so we are requiring breed experience. Due to an overwhelming amount of inquires and in order for us to get back to you. Please tell us about your dog/breed experience, lifestyle, house/yard, area you live in, activity level, and all other dogs, cats, kids and other pets in the house. The more information the better. Emails without this information will be ignored. We prefer Buffy go into a home with at least one other dog or dogs and kids are a plus too. She is a little ball of love. Very sweet and very calm. We have tons of pics and videos on request. Adoption fee of $650 applies and includes a health check, 5 page adoption agreement/contract. She is spayed, microchiped and fully vaccinated. Thank you so much for your interest in buff little Buffy!! This girls is stunningly beautiful. She is a muted merle/mushroom/taupe with hazel eyes and a lilac nose. Perfect hair, skin and coat with no health, skin or breathing issues that loves her baths. Buffy lives to play with other dogs but also loves her down time, cuddles and snuggles. She’s one of the more connected and cerebral Frenchies. I’ve rescued over the 33 years. I’ve had therescue. Dog park is a non-issue and if there are no dogs there she will find a tennis ball and she has figured out a way to kick it with her front paws, roll it with her nose and pick it up and throw it in the air to keep herself entertained for hours. My foster (my wife) takes her to Whole Foods twice a day. Dog park at least once a day and severely walks. She’s also 100% crate trained. Buffy is up to date on all vaccines, spayed, tattooed, and microchipped. She walks beautifully on a leash. We prefer she go to a home with at least one other playful dog or dogs. Female dogs are fine. We are looking for a bully breed experienced home for Buffy. Buffy has never bit or tried to bite but she is a bully breed and we feel she may have been hot or kicked. She is not scared of hands or feet but if you correct her with your hand or a hand gesture she will cower and put her ears back. Same thing if you kick her tennis ball. I’m a canine behaviorist of 38 years so for her corrections they are all verbal and for the ball I pick it up and toss it. On warmer days at the park or in play groups are your house she will need to be given time outs to reset so she doesn’t get overstimulated. Buffy has zero health or breathing issues and does not snore. She must be touching you at times when you’re sleeping and she loves car rides and road trips. we have done her stenotic nares (widened her nostrils), tonsillectomy, and elongated, soft palette. As long as it’s not too hot, this girl can go for days. Just sits in the passenger seat. We have an endless amount of photos and videos of her. If you have an iPhone I can send them directly to you. If you have an Android my wife can send.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Buffy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
