My story

Meet Froggie! ??Froggie hopped into our hearts on April 22, 2025, after he was found as a stray searching for a shady spot to rest his paws. Now safe and sound at HSSM, this sweet, 10-month-old Terrier mix is on the lookout for a forever family to give him the cool, comfy home—and the endless toys and treats—he deserves. With his striking red and white coat and soulful eyes, Froggie is as handsome as they come—a true little prince! But don’t let his good looks fool you—he’s got the whole package. He’s heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and will be neutered upon adoption. Froggie’s also a smart cookie! He’s already mastered “sit” and is making great progress with “stay” and “wait.” With a little one-on-one time, he’ll have those polished in no time. He walks like a total gentleman on a leash and is great with other dogs and respectful kids (ages 8 and up). He’s curious about cats, but still figuring them out—so slow introductions are key.
