My story

Meet Rocky! Rocky is a lovable Great Pyrenees puppy, born on February 14, 2025 — a true Valentine’s Day sweetheart! He came into our care after a family, who had too many Great Pyrenees, reached out for help. Now Rocky is ready to find a forever home where he can grow and thrive. Rocky is a friendly, typical pup — playful, curious, and full of love. Like most Great Pyrenees, he’s expected to grow into a large, majestic dog. Male Great Pyrenees typically reach an adult weight between 100 to 120 pounds and are known for their strong, sturdy build. The Great Pyrenees breed is famous for its calm, patient nature and gentle temperament, especially with children and other animals. Originally bred to guard livestock, they are intelligent, independent, and incredibly loyal to their families. With proper training and socialization, Rocky will blossom into a devoted companion and gentle protector. If you’re ready for a big-hearted pup who will grow into a big, beautiful dog, Rocky might be the perfect match for you! All Heart of America dogs are altered, micro chipped and will have age-appropriate vaccines. The adoption fee for all of our dogs/puppies is $225.
