Name: Cooper        Best Guess for Breed: Flat coated retriever/lab mix  Best Guess for Age:  6 months as of April 2025        SEX: Male   Approximate Weight:  43 lbs at 6 months of age, April 2025 - he's still growing and will be big!   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at: DC area foster home   Cooper is Looking For:  His forever home! This lushly coated sweetie is in the tail end of puppyhood and and still has all that puppy love for play and snuggles and more play! He hasn't seen nearly enough of the world and is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved for all his days.   What do you say? Will you give him the life he dreams about in exchange for adoring gazes and happy tail wags and loyal companionship? What My Foster Says About Me:  He is super sweet and loves to snuggle! He also loves going on walks, being outside, and playing with a tennis ball! He's a little nervous with meeting new people but he started warming up to my roommates after we sat with him and gave him lots of treats Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
