My story

Demarco is a sweet 3-year-old boy who found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own. While the big, noisy shelter environment can feel a little overwhelming for him right now, we know with a little patience and understanding, his true playful and loving personality will shine bright! Demarco loves to play with toys of all kinds — and he’s not just a solo player! He’ll happily bring the toy back to you, ready to keep the fun going again and again. His playful spirit is matched by his love of treats, making him a great candidate for learning new tricks and building a strong bond through training. He would thrive with a family willing to give him a little extra time to settle in and feel safe. Because of his sensitive nature, we think Demarco might do best in a home with older children, and he would need to meet any kiddos in the home before heading off to his new adventure. Demarco can’t wait to find his forever family — the ones who will help him bust out of the shelter and into a life full of love, playtime, and cozy cuddles.
