My story

Quinn is a 2-year-old goofball currently thriving in her foster home, where she`s quickly become a beloved little shadow—always close by and ready to keep you company. If you turn around, don’t be surprised to find her right behind you! She’s still working on building a little independence, but her affectionate nature makes her a wonderful companion.Once she feels comfortable, Quinn is an A+ cuddler and has a hilarious habit of napping in the weirdest, most adorable positions. She has a big personality packed into her petite frame and keeps us laughing daily with her quirky charm. Her absolute favorite thing in the entire world? Food. She lives for treats and has been enjoying some healthy snacks like fresh veggies and fruit. (She’s a health-conscious queen!)Quinn is playful and happy to entertain herself with toys—especially squeaky ones. She’ll proudly carry her current favorite around the house like it’s pure treasure. She hasn’t destroyed any of her toys so far and has a soft spot for BeneBones. Watching her zoom around the house at turbo speed when she gets excited is truly a sight to see—her zoomies are unmatched! She’s done great on car rides and really seems to enjoy hitting the road. Being a young pup, Quinn is still polishing up her manners. She can get a little jumpy and energetic when she’s excited, but she responds well to redirection and is eager to please. She`s partly housetrained and working hard on learning to let her humans know when it’s potty time—and she’s making great progress!Quinn does experience some separation anxiety, which just means she forms strong bonds with her people and may need a little extra support as she builds confidence when home alone. With patience and love, she’ll continue to grow into her best self.If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, food-loving girl who’s full of love and always ready to make you laugh, Quinn is your match. She’s ready to find a forever home that will adore her just as much as she’ll adore them!Quinn loved to attend playgroups at the shelter with all her doggie friends where she was the star of the show! She is currently living with a senior Great Pyrenees and does great at respecting her boundaries. We know she would love a doggie playmate though! Quinn is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Quinn is living in a foster home. If you would like to meet her please email foster@kcpetproject.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Quinn, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
