My story

Meet Penny! A charming 3-4 month old hound mix, This spirited little lady is looking for her forever home where she can run, play and snuggle to heart's content. Penny is a true adventurer, she loves to march on walks with her human and sprint after balls in the yard – she is a sweet girl who is all puppy energy and playfulness! Some of Penny's most adorable attributes are her wrinkly face that crinkles up when she's happy, and her white feet that look like she's wearing socks. Her foster parents also note her love of play - she's a dog's dog who loves to engage in wrestling, racing and tug of war. Penny is a puppy so she is still learning the ropes on manners - but she has been diligently working on learning new things. She is doing great, and working on new commands like sit and lie down. Penny sleeps at night in a pen with his foster brother and sister, and she does well at night, sleeping quietly with night-time accidents few and far between. She spends as much as 4-6 hours a day in the yard with his foster brother and sister, and keeps herself entertained when she has to be alone for long periods of time. She is not yet fully house trained, but is a quick study Penny has loved all the other humans and dogs she has met - including children! True to her hound nature she is curious, smart and always on the lookout for new adventures. Penny would do best in a house with other dogs or with humans who are active and like to play and go on walks or runs. Penny is ready to steal the heart of her forever family!
