**Meet Pablo!** Pablo is a 6-year-old, 75-pound bundle of joy with a big heart and an even bigger personality! This handsome boy is looking for his new family—someone who can appreciate his playful spirit, love for toys, and loyal companionship. Pablo’s previous owner shared that he’s both house-trained and crate-trained, which makes him a great fit for someone looking for a dog with a solid foundation. He loves playtime and will gladly entertain himself with toys, but he’s happiest when he has a human buddy to share the fun. When it comes to walks, Pablo has moments of greatness—he knows how to walk nicely on leash but can be a strong puller when he’s on a mission! The good news is, he’s not reactive toward other dogs or people; he just gets excited and likes to move with purpose. He’d benefit from a confident handler who can help him polish up those leash manners with a little patience and consistency. Car rides? Yes, please! Pablo enjoys hopping in for an adventure, but he thinks he’s the co-pilot and will want to sit right up front with you. A doggie seatbelt is recommended to help keep everyone safe on the road. One of Pablo’s best qualities is his friendliness—he’s a social butterfly and does wonderfully when meeting new people. Whether it's guests at your door or new friends at the park, Pablo greets everyone with a wagging tail and a happy heart. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion who’s past the puppy stage but still full of life and love, Pablo might just be your perfect match. Come meet him—you’ll fall in love in no time! As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
