My story

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Lucky! Lucky is approximately 3 years old, 40 lbs currently and she might have some English Setter/Pointer in her mix! She was caught in a trap and her leg needed to be amputated. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids, cats, and young playful dogs. She would prefer a fenced in yard.Her foster says, `Lucky is the bravest cuddlebug you’ll ever meet. Missing one leg, this sweet pointer mix hasn’t missed a beat. After surviving a trap injury and being saved by a caring vet, Luckia is thriving—running, playing, and loving life. She is incredibly smart and quickly picking up on commands. She is potty trained but is still young so needs frequent outside potty breaks. She loves to be outside and should have a yard to enjoy, she’s also love to be with another friendly dog. She’s great with kids, especially gentle with babies, likes the cats, and adores playing with our golden retriever- they are such good buddies. Loyal, loving, and full of heart, Luckia is ready for her forever home! She really needs a fenced yard and a family is home more than they’re not.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on May 9th.
