My story

Meet Bucky (formerly Goose)! Bucky’s journey hasn’t been easy, but you’d never know it by meeting him. This sweet young pup was left in the nightly drop-off kennels at the Tri-City Fremont Shelter, alone and unsure. But it didn’t take long for Bucky to capture everyone’s hearts — he quickly became a staff favorite thanks to his affectionate nature, bright spirit, and endless love for people. Bucky is a true cuddlebug who lives to be close to his humans. He gazes up at you with his soulful eyes, asking for pets, and once you start, he melts right into you. He adores kids, gets along wonderfully with cats, and loves to be part of the family action. Playtime is one of Bucky’s favorite things — he’s full of puppy energy, loves his toys, and is always ready for a walk or adventure. He’s agile, smart, and absolutely shines during training time, picking up new skills quickly and eagerly. He’s house trained and crate trained, he’s working on his loose-leash skills. Bucky has so much love to give and is looking for a forever home where he can be your best friend, your shadow, and your snuggle buddy.
