Introducing Django!🐶🐾 A resilient, loving soul who’s ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family who will never let him go. About Django: 🐾 Age: ~2 years old 🐾 Breed: Pit Bull mix 🐾 Weight: 58 lbs Django’s story is heartbreaking💔 He was found abandoned in a field in South Carolina—left behind with just his crate. For two days, he stayed curled up beside it, waiting for the family who dumped him to come back. But no one ever did. When rescuers finally reached him, they discovered he had what appeared to be chemical burns running down his back. We don’t know what he endured before that day, but it’s clear he hadn’t known much kindness. ✨ He’s healed up beautifully. He may always carry some scars, and some of his fur is growing back white in patches — but he wears it like a badge of courage. Underneath it all, he’s just a Pittie mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. 💙Why you’ll fall in love: 🐾 Great with dogs, cats, and kids 🐾 Friendly with everyone he meets 🐾 Super smart—already knows “sit” and eager to learn more 🐾 Walks nicely on a leash and loves his strolls 🐾 Totally food-motivated—mealtimes are his absolute favorite time of day! More than anything, Django just wants to be near his people. He’s playful, affectionate, and full of love. After being abandoned so cruelly, all he wants now is a forever home where he’ll be safe, cherished, and never left behind again. 📸 We’re sharing photos of Django as he is now—happy and healing—as well as a few from the day he was found.
