Cassie (New Digs)

My story

Cassie is a spunky girl who loves to play! She is a brown, mixed-breed 3-year-old female and is roughly 40 lbs. She enjoys her daily â&#194&#128&#194&#156zoomiesâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 along with any toy she can chew on! She likes to play dress up and is always down for a good park with lots of space to run and play! She likes to be the boss of the pack, but once she has found her person, she keeps you close! Cassie was adopted as a puppy and sadly brought back to the shelter once she was fully grown. She was born at a high-risk shelter and rescued by a humane society in Florida! She missed out on the socialization and training a puppy needs. Once we took her in, we had her trained for basic commands along with working on some resource guarding she had from living shelter life for so long. Cassie has made great strides since being with our family, and we are so proud to see where she has come! Cassie is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. Cassie enjoys running, cuddling up after a long day, and any tasty treat you offer! She doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t love to share her treasures with others, though she prefers to enjoy these treats alone! She loves car rides in the front seat and pup cups! Cassie has lived with another large dog and a cat. She likes to try to play with our cat, but doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t quite understand that they donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t play the same way! She also gets along with our big dog, but does prefer to be the center of attention in her home! Cassie is fearful of smaller children as they are a little too unpredictable for her liking, but would do great with an older friend who can respect her space! Cassie would love to have a yard to run, but it doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t need to be anything big and fancy, just enough to get her zoomies out! Cassie is crate trained and walks on a leash well with the use of a pronged collar. She gets a bit excited on the leash, so we have found the pronged collar to be a great help after receiving one in her training when we got her! She is housebroken and knows how to go outside to handle her potty business! Cassie truly is the sweetest girl and would make the perfect companion. Unfortunately, since our infant has begun to crawl and become active has Cassie is under stress that we do not think is fair to her, which is why we ultimately decided a new home would be her best option. We hope to find Cassie her perfect fit that allows her to live her best life!
